The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent/MCD to seal and demolish the unauthorised construction being This is a digitally signed order. Photographs have been filed along with the writ petition to show the unauthorised construction. 2. Mr. Harshit Chopra, appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD, on advance notice submits that the unauthorised construction on the entire ground floor, first floor, second floor, third floor and raising of walls and columns on the fourth floor has been booked and a show cause notice has been issued by MCD on 10th September, 2026. It is further submitted that a communication dated 14th September, 2026, has been issued to the concerned SHO, Police Station Ranjeet Nagar, calling upon the police authorities to ensure that no construction activities take place. 2.1. The aforesaid documents are handed over in Court and the same are taken on record. 3. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. 4. A direction is issued to SHO, Police Station Ranjeet Nagar, to ensure that no construction is permitted to be carried out in the subject property. 5. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the Court in the event any further grievance survives. 6. All rights and contentions of the owner/occupier/private respondent no.4 are kept open.
