Petitioner responded to an advertisement issued by Management of Inter College, Kunajkhal, District Pauri Garhwal on 6.12.2015. According to petitioner, after preparing list of top seven candidates, no further step was taken, pursuant to said advertisement. It is the case of petitioner that she was placed at serial no. 1 amongst seven candidates, shortlisted for interview for appointment to the post of Lecturer (Sanskrit), but the selection process was suspended without any rhyme and reason. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to authorities to complete the selection process. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that selection process was initiated in 2015, therefore there cannot be a direction to hold interview in a writ petition, filed in the year 2024. He further submits that if petitioner has any grievance, she can make representation to the competent authority, which shall be dealt with as per law. 4. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation to Chief Education Officer concerned. If she makes such 2026:UHC:2299 representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within eight weeks thereafter.
