It has transpired in the cross examination of the defacto complainant that the search and seizure were not videographed. The petitioner prays for bail. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record. It is a fact that search and seizure were not videographed. The learned trial Court is at liberty to take necessary steps against the erring official in this regard in terms of the order in CRM (NDPS) 492 of 2022 with CRM (NDPS) 493 of 2022 passed on 22nd June, 2022. Contraband substance above commercial quantity has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. In view of the statutory restriction laid down under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. 2 CRM (NDPS) 580 of 2025 is disposed of. Case Diary be returned.
