By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to respondent No.2/Superintending Engineer to consider and decide the representation dated 05.12.2023 submitted by the petitioner for grant of promotion from the post of Peon to Assistant Grade-III. 2. It is further submitted that a representation in this regard has already been submitted before respondent No.2, however, the same has not been considered or decided till date. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents/State submits that, as the petitioner has approached this Court with a limited prayer, she has no objection and that if the representation filed by the petitioner is still pending before the concerned authority, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law within the stipulated period. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents on record. 5. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the State, it is directed that if the representation dated 05.12.2023 filed by the petitioner is still pending, respondent No.2/Superintending Engineer shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
