Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on written instructions, submits that both the parties in Crime No.87 of 2022 of Disha Women Police Station, Nellore, vide CC No.1988 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Special Mobile Court, Nellore, have compromised the matter before the Lok Adalat and the accused were acquitted of the charges under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act on 29.06.2024 and, in view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the Criminal Petition and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
