1. The present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.129, dated 31.07.2025, under Section 420 IPC (318 BNS) registered at Police Station Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. 2. On 06.05.2026, this Court had passed the following order:-
“Learned Senior Counsel submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case by his own cousin Saurabh Jain, who is the complainant. It is a property dispute between the extended family. The document in question does not bear the signatures of the petitioner or members of the complainant family. The essential ingredients of Section 420 IPC are not made out. A civil suit already stands filed at the hands of the complainant, which is pending adjudication. He further refers to the copy of the challan wherein it has been specifically mentioned that the petitioner is not required to be arrested in view of the fact that sentence for the offence is below 7 years. He is not involved in any other case; ready and willing to appear before the trial Court. Notice of motion. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Manipal Singh Atwal, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. The petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court on or before 13.05.2026 and furnish his bail/surety bonds. On his doing so, he shall be released on interim bail, subject to the satisfaction of trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned. Adjourned to 20.05.2026.”

3. Learned Senior counsel has produced a copy of order dated 08.05.2026 to submit that in pursuance of aforesaid order, the petitioner surrendered before the trial Court and has been granted bail. 4. Learned State counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer affirms that aforesaid factum and that case is now listed for framing of charges. 5.
In view of the above, order dated 06.05.2026 is hereby made absolute, subject to compliance of conditions as specified under Section 482(2) BNSS, 2023. 6. Application, if any, stands disposed of. (AMAN CHAUDHARY) 20.05.2026
