(Through V.C.) 02/ 29.06.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with, Hunterganj P.S Case No. 131 of 2024 for the alleged offences registered under Section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 and section 12 (1) of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter ) Act 2005, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate- 1st Class, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the name of the petitioners has come on the confessional statement of the co- accused persons and co-accused persons have also been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail and orders have been annexed as Annexure-2 series. He further submits that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedents as disclosed in para-11 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State through video conferencing opposes the prayer of the anticipatory bail of the petitioners. 5. Considering, that the other co-accused have been granted the ( 2026:JHHC:18793 ) privilege of anticipatory bail in view of annexure-2 series and further the petitioners have got no criminal antecedents as disclosed in para 11 of the petition, in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of their surrender/arrest, the petitioners, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand)each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Chatra, in connection with Hunterganj P.S Case No. 131 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
