Sanhita, have filed this application for their release on bail. 4. The brief fact of the case is that on 16.01.2026 at about 1.00 P.M. while the elder brother of the informant named Sumanta Naik was returning to his house after finishing his work, on the way, near Mangala Kothi the Petitioners attacked him by means of crow bar. Due to such assault the elder brother of the informant sustained grievous injuries. Soon after the said incident, an F.I.R was lodged in the local Police Station. Accordingly, the Petitioners were taken into custody after completion of investigation. The Petitioners have been languishing in custody since 17.01.2026. 5. Learned counsel for the Petitioners contends that the Petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. They have been entangled in this case due to some previous enmity. The Petitioners are no way connected to the offences alleged against them. They are innocent persons. He, accordingly, prays for permitting the Petitioners to be released on bail. 6. Learned counsel for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the present Petitioners. He further submits that such type of offences is not tolerable in a law abiding society. He, accordingly, prays for dismissal of this BLAPL.
