Mansuri, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Mr. E.R. Chyne, learned GA is present on behalf of the respondents Nos. 4 & 5, so no further notice is required in respect of these respondents. 3. Without issuance notice to the remaining respondents, this Court finds that the maintainability of the writ petition itself is in question, inasmuch as, it seeks to impugn the action of the respondent No. 1, in the conduct of the 17th U Kiang Nongbah Memorial Trophy Super Division Football Tournament, wherein the writ petitioner alleges that they have 2026:MLHC:22 been treated unfairly and arbitrary orders passed, which has affected their participation in the finals of the tournament. 4. This Court has heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also examined the materials on record. Apart from some orders passed by the Deputy Commissioner in the capacity of President of the Association, no materials have been annexed with regard to the remedial or appellate mechanism of the Association which should govern such disputes, nor has the constitution been produced. Further, it is noted that the writ petition is directed against private entities, and even the official respondents have exercised their powers as honorary functionaries of the respondent No. 1. 5. In the considered view of this Court therefore, without going into the facts in detail, this writ petition is held to be not maintainable and the same is accordingly dismissed.
