Respondent/s BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 12.03.2026 [1] Heard Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel for the petitioner. [2] By the present petition, the petitioner is one of the seven technically responsive bidders in terms of bid document dated 05.02.2026 for engagement of unarmed Private Security Guard for SAI Complex, Imphal West. [3] In the present writ petition, all the seven technically qualified bidders have quoted the same value and all are L1. However, the contract was awarded to respondent No. 3 and the same is challenged on various grounds. The prayer is for quashing the technical evaluation of respondent No. 3 and to cancel the award dated 02.03.2026 awarded to respondent No. 3. [4] Mr. Boboy Potsangbam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No. 1 (Union of India) and respondent No. 2 (SAI), on instruction, submits that official respondents are contemplating for cancellation of the whole proceedings of NIT floated on 05.02.2026 along with corresponding proceeding and award dated 02.03.2026 granted in favour of respondent No. 3 and submits that writ petition may be disposed of at this stage. [5] Recording the submissions of learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1 & 2, writ petition is closed in view of the purported cancellation of the whole proceedings of the bid including awarded dated 02.03.2026. Misc. application is also closed. [6] It is clarified that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case.
