1. [2026:RJ-JP:3267] (2 of 2) [CCP-578/2024]
2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance of order dated 12.02.2024, immediate action was taken and enquiry was made by the Tehsildar and Executive Magistrate, Uniyara, wherein he has also recommended for granting protection to the petitioners. It also comes out that an FIR has also been lodged by the petitioners against the persons, who may create injury to the petitioners; however, such accused persons are absconding. In the instant contempt petition, no incident has been disclosed specifically by the petitioners so as to show that even after information given by the petitioners or even when requirement was there, the respondents have failed to provide protection to the petitioners.
3. In view of above, no case of deliberate and willful disobedience is made out.
4. Hence, the contempt petition is dismissed and notices stand discharged.
5. Learned Government Advocate still ensures that the Police Authorities are duty bound to provide safety of life and liberty not only to the petitioners but to every citizen.
