Mr. Harendra Belwal, Advocate for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Lalit Samant, Advocate for the respondents. 3. Petitioner was serving as driver in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation; his status was that of a contractual employee. He has been disengaged from service vide order 14.02.2025 on the charge of misbehaviour with his senior officer. 4. Petitioner submits that no formal inquiry was held and the charge levelled against the petitioner was not proved. He further submits that opportunity of hearing was also not given. 5. Learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, however, submits that petitioner has remedy of appeal before the Appellate Authority. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to file appeal before the competent authority. If he files appeal within ten days from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within ten weeks thereafter.
