Briefly, the petitioner and private respondent are brothers. After the demise of their father, the respondent no. 5 has transferred the electric meter in his name. The petitioner now seeks a new electricity connection, which is accessible to all the parties. All the parties including the private respondents unequivocally agreed to shifting of the service connection from the existing position to a common position. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and the private respondents, WPA 27561 of 2025 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner and the private 2 respondents to apply for necessary shifting of the meter subject to compliance with all statutory formalities and payment of necessary fees.
