Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that as the petitioners have already represented to the Department with regard to the issue raised in the writ petition, the interest of justice would be served, in case, this petition is disposed of with direction to the competent authority to decide the representation filed by the petitioners Annexure P-1 (colly.) in the light of averments made therein within some reasonable time.
3. Without making any observation on the merit of the case, this writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the direction 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2026:HHC:10396 that the representation made by the petitioners, appended with the writ petition as Annexure P-1 (colly.), shall be decided by the competent Authority, in light of the averments made therein within a period of 12 weeks from today, by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
