Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the accusations against the present petitioner is that she happens to be the second wife and the victim committed suicide after 25 years of marriage. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and produces the relevant statements appearing against the present petitioner. I have taken into account the charges of abetment, but having regard to the fact that the incident happened after 25 years of marriage and the present petitioner allegedly happens to be the second wife, I am of the view that custodial detention of the petitioner may not be warranted. 2 As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/-, with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Since the investigation of the case is still in progress, the petitioner shall make herself available as and when called for by the Investigating Officer. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM(A) 864 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
