The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Rajpur PS Case No.87 of 2025, for offence registered under section 27(a), 28, 29, 30 of NDPS Act and section 33 of Indian Forest Act, pending in court of learned Sessions Judge, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that false allegations are made against the petitioner of cultivation of poppy plants in the forest land and he next submits that even the land is not belonging to the petitioner and the petitioner is a poor villager and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.19 of the petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations are there of cultivation of poppy plants in the forest land. 2026:JHHC:18615 2 5. Considering that the land is of the forest department and the land is not belonging to the petitioner and the petitioner is a poor villager and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.19 of the petition, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Chatra, in connection with Rajpur PS Case No.87 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
