The Petitioner has filed this Petition for the following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records in relates to the case of the petitioner from the possession of respondents for its kind perusal. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/order/direction to the Res.No.2 to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Patwari in District Mungeli. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/order/direction declaring the entire process of selection null and void ab initio. 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/order/direction to the Res.No.2 to decide the representation dated 14.10.2024 at the earliest. 3 10.5 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/relief's in favour of the petitioner, which the Hon'ble Court deemed fit & just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner participated in the recruitment process for appointment to the post of Patwari, however, though he appeared in the competitive examination conducted by the Respondents, his name did not find place in the merit list/select list issued for counselling. Being aggrieved thereby, the Petitioner submitted a representation before Respondent No. 2 – Collector on 14.10.2025, which is still pending consideration, therefore, a direction may be issued to Respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the said representation at the earliest within a specified time frame. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that in view of the limited prayer made by learned Counsel for the Petitioner, she has no objection to the same. 4. Having considered the submissions made by learned Counsel for the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is, at this stage, disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the representation submitted by the Petitioner (Annexure P- 8) dated 14.10.2024 in accordance with law, expeditiously, 4 preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
