02/24.06.2026. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chatra Sadar P. S. Case No.89 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 126 (2), 115 (2), 132, 352, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the case is pending in the court of learned C.J.M.., Chatra.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is driver of the Truck and allegation is there that he was carrying coal on the vehicle. She further submits that allegation has been made that while the vehicle was intercepted, some persons came on the Maruti car and they have indulged in altercation with the Police.
4. She further submits that even the allegation of fleeing away of the petitioner is not there in the FIR. Further the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as disclosed in Para-15 of the instant Petition. On these grounds, petitioner may be given privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner happened to be Driver of truck and the allegation is there of obstructing in discharging the duty by the Police.

Considering that the petitioner being driver has no criminal antecedent as disclosed in Para-15 of the instant Petition and allegation is there that some miscreants came on the Maruti car and they have indulged in altercation with the Police, I am inclined to provide privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M.., Chatra, in connection with Chatra Sadar P. S. Case No.89 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
