The petitioner is an accused in connection with Hiranpur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2025 corresponding to S. T. No. 128 of 2025. It has been alleged that the informant since the marriage with the petitioner was subjected to torture and was ultimately ousted from her matrimonial house and on 08.05.2025, the petitioner has come to the parental house of the informant and assaulted her as well as her 5 years old child. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the incident is a result of marital discord between the petitioner and the informant and so far as 5 years old child is concerned, she has suffered simple injuries. He has further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 16.05.2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the period of custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge I, Pakur in connection with Hiranpur P.S.
