The Applicant herein has suffered a decree of eviction, which has been stayed by the Appellate Court subject to payment of compensation at the rate of Rs. 10,000/- per month. The property is situated at Andheri (East). A comparable premises, being Gut No. 12, admeasuring 250 square feet and situated in the same building, has been given on leave and licence for a monthly license fee of Rs. 26,000/-. 2. However, considering that the Appellate Court has already fixed the compensation at Rs. 10,000/- per month, it would not be appropriate for this Court to reduce the amount any further.
