Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. 2. By the present writ petition the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to grant intra district transfer to a school nearby her residence. 3. The petitioner contends that she joined as an Assistant Teacher in Jotsadi Free Primary School, Post Office – Bontir, District - Purba Bardhman on 12th July, 2010. Subsequent thereto, the petitioner has been transferred to Tailara Free Primary School, Purba Bardhman on 6th January, 2012 where the petitioner is presently discharging her functions. The petitioner has been confirmed in service with effect from 12th July, 2012. The petitioner is suffering from serious spondylitis problem. The petitioner’s present place of posting is about 14 Kilometers away from her place of residence. On 6th September, 2025, the petitioner made a representation before respondent no.3, Chairman, District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhman seeking for her transfer. However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence this writ petition. 4. Mr. Sudip Ghosh Chowdhury, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority for consideration of the application of the petitioner for her transfer in accordance with law. 5. Mr. Saibal Acharya, learned advocate representing District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhman submits that there are no records that the representation of the petitioner has been received by the office of District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhman. 6. Mr. Ghosh Chowdhury, learned advocate for the petitioner at this stage submits that liberty be granted to the petitioner to file a comprehensive application. 7. In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the respective parties, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a comprehensive application within a period of four weeks from the date of this order. In the event such application is filed within the aforesaid period, respondent no.3, Chairman, District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhman shall consider the 2 comprehensive application of the petitioner and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law upon notice to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 8. The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week from passing thereof. 9. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.3, Chairman, District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhman, for necessary compliance. 10. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition being WPA 24789 of 2025 stands disposed of. 11. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 12. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 13. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 14. There shall be no order as to costs. 15. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 16.
