... For the Petitioner.
Mr. Md. Adil Badr, Mr. Tirthankar Dhali
... For the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.04.2025. Till date case has not been committed to the court of sessions. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail. I have taken into account the materials available in the case diary. There are injuries which have been inflicted allegedly by the present petitioner. However, having considered the period of detention, I am of the view that the petitioner should be released on bail after the case is committed to the court of sessions by the learned Trial Judge who would be presiding the case. The learned Trial Judge would be at liberty to impose conditions; however, one of the conditions would be not to enter the jurisdiction of Halisahar
2 Police Station. Petitioner would inform the address where he would be residing prior to his release and would also make himself available to the local police station where he would be residing once in a month till the same is modified by the learned Trial Court. With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM (M) 451 of 2026, is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
