State of Uttarakhand” Hon’ble Ashish Naithani, J. Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the Applicant. 2. Mr. Vipul Painuly, learned AGA, for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. In the High Court of Uttarakhand, the present case arises from Bail Application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail for the Applicant – Manoj Singhal, who has been accused in FIR/Case Crime No.142 of 2025, dated 15.04.2025, under Section 29 of the Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar. 4. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant has falsely been implicated in the present matter. He further submits that the prosecution story against the Applicant is based on conjectures and surmises and does not disclose any offence under Section 29 of the NDPS Act. The Applicant has been languishing in jail since 26.02.2026 and has no previous history; there is no recovery of any alleged contraband from the possession of the present Applicant, and the recovery is from the co-accused. 5. Learned State Counsel has vehemently opposed the bail application of the Applicant. 6. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the Applicant has made out a case for bail. 7. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. It is directed that the Applicant - Manoj Singhal, who has been accused in FIR/Case Crime No.142 of 2025, dated 15.04.2025, under Section 29 of the Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar, be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond with two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court.
