P.P. …...... 02/ 09.03.2026: This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of IPC. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned AddI. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. 4. The death was occurred due to strangulation. Earlier the application of the petitioner was rejected by reasoned order on 25.02.2025 passed in B.A. No.1600 of 2025 by co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Now the trial is also in progress as two witnesses out of nine witnesses have been examined in this case. 5. Considering the fact that trial is in progress and prayer of the petitioner was earlier rejected, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with S.T. Case No. 96 of 2024, corresponding to Patratu (Bhurkunda) P.S. Case No.85 of 2024 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh, stands rejected. 6. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.
