The petitioner is undergoing a sentence of rigorous imprisonment of 20 years, having been convicted by the Trial Court on 21.10.2023, in connection with FIR No. 703/2019, registered at Police Station Raj Park, under Sections 377/380 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences, 2012. 2. His appeal [CRL.A. 195/2024] against the conviction and sentence has also been dismissed by this Court on 12.08.2025. 3. By way of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of one month. This is a digitally signed order. Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the respondent – State, who appears on advance notice, submits, upon instructions, that the concerned Authority will decide the parole application and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of 10 days from today. 6. In view of the above, no further relief is sought in this petition. 7. Accordingly, the petition, alongwith pending application, is disposed of binding the respondent to the aforesaid statement.
