JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioners are seeking the following reliefs: "Wherefore, the petitioner humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to: a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing respondent Nos.1 to 4 to register an FIR on the complaints dated 17/04/2026 and 04/05/2026 vide Annexure - C & D against respondent No.5 and his associates and direct to investigate in accordance with law and file the final report before the competent Court; b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing respondent Nos.1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners, their family members, and the scheduled property from the illegal acts, threats, interference and intimidation of respondent No.5 and his followers; c) Pass such other order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit, proper and necessary in the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24726 WP No. 15049 of 2026 facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite the petitioners submitting complaints at Annexures - C and D dated 17.04.2026 and 04.05.2026 against respondent No.5, respondent Nos.1 to 4 are not taking any steps, in pursuance of the same, resulting in irreparable injury and hardship to the petitioners, who are before this Court by way of present petition. 3. Per contra, learned AGA for respondent Nos.1 to 4 submits that, if reasonable time is granted, respondent Nos.1 to 4 would consider the complaints of the petitioners and proceed further, in accordance with law. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition directing the concerned respondent Nos.1 to 4 to address the grievances of the petitioners and take appropriate steps/action, pursuant to the complaints of the petitioners at Annexures - C and D dated 17.04.2026 and 04.05.2026 within a week from today. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24726 WP No. 15049 of 2026 5.
