Singh, Advocate -versus- Union of India & Ors. …. Opposite Parties Mr. P.K. Parhi, DSGI along with Ms. P. Nayak, CGC Mr.D. Harichandan, CGC Mr.D. Gochhayat, CGC Mr.S.C. Devdash, CGC Mr. S.R. Dash, CGC Mr. M. Kumar, CGC Mr. S. Panda, CGC CORAM: JUSTICE BIRAJA PRASANNA SATAPATHY Order No. ORDER 22.05.2026 04. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties. 3. All these present Writ Petitions have been filed inter alia challenging the order of transfer passed and rejection of the Petitioners’ claim to continue without assigning any reason whatsoever. 4. It is contended that since after being communicated with the order of transfer, Petitioners made separate applications for re-consideration of the order of transfer, but without assigning any reason since such claim has been rejected, not only the impugned order of transfer, but also the rejection is illegal and requires interference of this Court. 5. Learned DSGI appearing along with learned CGC in the present batch of Writ Petitions on the other hand contended that in the meantime while considering the case of the Petitioners, a reasoned order has already been passed in each of the cases with due communication to the Petitioners. 5.1. It is contended that since in the present batch of Writ Petitions, all the Petitioners have already continued for more than three (3) years in their present place of posting as per the guidelines governing the field, Petitioners have been duly transferred and no interference is called for. 6. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties, considering the submissions made and since after being put under transfer, claim of the Petitioners for re-consideration of such order of transfer have been rejected with passing of the reasoned order and since it is not disputed that all the Petitioners are continuing at Bhubaneswar for more than three (3) years, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order of transfer. 6.1. It is also the view of this Court that Petitioners having been employed under CRPF and the services being transferable one, no illegality or irregularity has been committed in transferring the Petitioners vide the respective orders of transfer. 6.2. In any view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order of transfer so passed and so also the rejection of the Petitioners’ claim to continue in their present place of posting at Bhubaneswar. 7. Accordingly, all the Writ Petitions stands dismissed. Interim order passed earlier stands vacated in each of the cases. 8. Photocopy of the order be placed in other confected Writ Petitions.
