The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to stop construction activities in the subject property bearing No. WZ-378, Village Basai Darapur, New Delhi - 110015 and carry out demolition/sealing action. Complaints have been made to the respondent authorities. However, no action has been taken. 3. Counsel appears on behalf of the respondent/MCD on advance notice and submits that a show cause notice dated 7th September, 2026 has been issued for unauthorised construction in the shape of ground, first, second and third floors on the subject property along with projection on municipal land. A work stop notice has also been issued to the SHO, P.S. Moti Nagar on the said date, calling upon the police authorities to stop construction activities and remove all construction material. 3.1 The aforesaid documents have been handed over in Court and the same are taken on record. 4. Taking the aforesaid submissions on record, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law. A direction is also issued to the SHO, P.S. Moti Nagar to ensure that no construction is carried out in the subject property. 5. In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law. 6.
