The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bindapathar P.S. Case No.63/2025, registered for the offence under Sections 331(4), 305 of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamtara. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s name has come only on confessional statement. He further submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged theft. He then submits that the co-accused person has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in A.B.A. No.3360 of 2026. He next submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 14 of this application. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and he is having no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 14 of this application and co-accused person has been granted anticipatory ( 2026:JHHC:18646 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 3287 of 2026 bail by this Court in the aforesaid A.B.A. and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamtara in connection with Bindapathar P.S.
