The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioners for non compliance of the order dated 25.04.2022 by the respondents passed by this Court in WPS No.2824/2022, by which the issue of enhancement of duty allowance payable to the personnel in the Home Guard including the petitioners was directed to be decided by this Court in light of the guidelines of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in this regard. 2. Against the order dated 25.04.2022, a writ appeal bearing WA No.320/2025 was preferred by the respondents before the Division Bench of this Court but the same was dismissed vide judgment dated 10.06.2025, against which an SLP was preferred by the respondents before the Hon’ble Supreme Court bearing SLP (Civil) Diary No.51093/2025, but the same has also been rejected vide order dated 13.02.2026. 3. Thus, in light of the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the present contempt petition stands disposed of.
