By virtue of the present petitions under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner(s) seek quashing of FIR No.160/2019 dated 14.06.2019 registered under Sections 354B/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC), FIR No.368/2021 dated 03.07.2021 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and FIR No.159/2019 dated 13.06.2019 under Sections 323/342/34 respectively registered at PS: Laxmi Nagar, and all proceedings emanating therefrom as the petitioner(s) and respondent no.2 have mutually settled all their disputes vide Settlement Deed dated 14.08.2025. Learned counsel for respondent no.2 also accepts notice and submits that the respondent no.2 has no objection if the present petition is allowed. 5. This Court has further had the occasion of interacting with the petitioner(s) as well as the respondent no.2, who all are present in Court. They affirm the terms of the aforesaid Settlement Deed dated 04.08.2026, whereby out of the total settlement amount of Rs.31,60,000/-, Mr. Shakir Ali/ petitioner no.1 in CRL.M.C. Nos.5950/2026 and 5961/2026 has already paid to the respondent no.2 an amount of Rs.25,00,000/- and the remaining sum of Rs.6,60,000/- has been paid to her by way of two FDRs in the name of her daughter drawn on SBI Bank as full and final settlement of all her present, past and future claims including alimony, maintenance, etc., and as such, the parties have agreed to put a quietus to their disputes. Respondent no.2 hence submits that she does not wish to continue with the aforesaid FIRs against the petitioner(s) since she wishes to live her life peacefully. 6. The petitioner(s) and the respondent no.2, present in Court, as well as their credentials, as on record, have been duly identified by the IO. 7. As noted above, a settlement based on mutual terms between the petitioner(s) and the respondent no.2 is the basis of filing the present petition, which is accompanied by their respective affidavit(s) qua the said effect. In view thereof, the present is a fit case for quashing the aforesaid FIRs. Accordingly, as also following the law laid down by the Hon’ble This is a digitally signed order. Accordingly, the present petitions are allowed and FIR No.160/2019 dated 14.06.2019 registered under Sections 354B/323/34 IPC, FIR No.368/2021 dated 03.07.2021 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and FIR No.159/2019 dated 13.06.2019 under Sections 323/342/34 registered at PS: Laxmi Nagar, respectively and all proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 9.
