The grievance of the petitioner is against the failure of the WBSEDCL in providing a fresh electricity connection to the petitioner. Admittedly, there are private civil disputes by and between the petitioner and the private respondents i.e. his mother and his two brothers. 2. On behalf of the WBSEDCL it is submitted that they have no objection in granting such electricity connection to the petitioner. 3. In such circumstances, WPA 3128 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to provide a separate electricity connection to the petitioner upon payment of all necessary charges and after compliance with all statutory formalities. 2 4. Liberty is granted to the WBSEDCL to obtain police assistance if the circumstances so warrant. The cost and expense for such police assistance would be exclusively borne by the petitioner. The above exercise is to be completed within three weeks from the date of the communication of the order. 5. It is needless to mention that the above grant of electricity connection will not create any equity in favour of the petitioner insofar as the civil disputes are concerned. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
