Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “I. That the instant writ petition may kindly be allowed with cost and the result dated 06.12.2024 (Annexure P-2) and 03.02.2025 (Annexure P-5) in respect to post code 1073 i.e. Operation Theater Assistants may be quashed 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:10303 and set aside as the same is against the principles of fairness and equality; II. That the respondents may be directed to reinitiate the selection process in respect to the sanctioned posts of Operation Theatre Assistants by prior intimation of the criteria/cut-off marks to the candidates.” 2. Perusal of the reply filed by respondent No.3 demonstrates that the petitioner did not obtain qualifying marks in the screening test. 3. In this view of the matter, as the issue raised by the petitioner in the writ petition has lost its efficacy and remains more academic in nature, therefore, present proceedings are disposed of, having become rendered infructuous, but the issues raised therein is kept open.
