Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority. 3. The petitioner’s grievance that in spite of making an application for transfer sometime in 2022, the same has not been considered and is pending before the respondent no. 3. 4. Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 3 submits that by a communication dated December 7, 2022, a copy whereof is kept on record, the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission had written to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal seeking particulars of the vacancy in the petitioner’s opted school and also for suitable vacancies in an appropriate school closer to the residence of the petitioner. 2 5. It seeks that the said request made on behalf of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission has not been acted upon. 6. In view of the afore-stated, I direct the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal to indicate the vacancies, as sought for by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission in its letter dated December 7, 2022. 7. Let a copy of this order be served upon the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal by the petitioner as well as by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, to enable the Commissioner of School Education to take appropriate steps in the matter and expedite the same. 8. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
