By the instant petition the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR dated 31.03.2025 which was registered as FIR No. 0106 of 2025 U/s 3, 5 & 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007 at Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar as against the petitioner. ii. Issue a writ or order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance of the FIR dated 31.03.2025 which was registered as FIR No. 0106 of 2025 U/s 3, 5 & 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007 at Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned but since the Ramzan are going on, therefore, he may be given some protection during this period. 5. Learned A.G.A. have not raised any objection. 6. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before 30.04.2026.
