Mr. Shashank Upadhyaya, learned counsel for the respondents, through video conferencing. 3. The petitioner passed her Secondary School Examination from C.B.S.E. in the year 2014. The petitioner came to know that her date of birth had been incorrectly recorded in the said certificate. Instead of 07.03.1998, her date of birth was mentioned as 07.03.1999 in both the High School mark sheet and the certificate issued on 20.05.2024. 4. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondents to correct her date of birth in those certificates. 5. In order to get the correction done a representation has also been submitted by the petitioner on 23.01.2026 to respondent no.2-Regional Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education, Regional Office, Dehradun. 6. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the said representation in this case is pending disposal. 7. An innocuous prayer has been made by learned 2 counsel for the petitioner that the respondent no.2 be directed to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner within a stipulated time. If such a direction is issued ends of justice would be met. 8. The said proposition offered by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by learned counsel for the respondents. 9. Accordingly writ petition stands disposed of finally and it is provided that respondent no.2 or the Competent Authority shall decide the representation of the petitioner dated 23.01.2026, annexure no.6 to the writ petition, within a period of four weeks’ from the date of receipt of this order.
