The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent no. 1 to produce the minor granddaughter of the petitioner, aged about 6 years, who is This is a digitally signed order. presently in the custody of respondent no. 2, the father of the minor child.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition has been filed as the whereabouts of respondent no. 2 and the minor child are not known, and as the respondent no. 2 is not available at the address where he was earlier residing.
3. Respondent no. 2, who appears in person, undertakes to share his current residential address with the petitioner and to allow the petitioner to meet the minor child.
4. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
5. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
