ORDER The present petition has been filed by the fourth accused in STC No.319 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein the petitioner has been charged with offences under Sections 143 and 283 of IPC along with seven others accused persons. 2.A perusal of the charge sheet reveals that the petitioner along with the others had allegedly assembled unlawfully for the purpose of expressing their protest against the Union Government and also against the privatization of Government institutions on behalf of the political party. 3.Considering the allegations in the charge sheet, it is clear that the petitioner belongs to a political party and had assembled in order to express his protest as against the policies of the Government and they have not indulged in any violence whatsoever. Therefore, the charge sheet against the petitioner has to be quashed. In view of the above said facts S.T.C.No. 319 of 2023 is quashed as against the petitioner alone. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
