07/ 22.06.2026: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has challenged the order, by which, mutation has been rejected. He takes several grounds.
3. The fact remains that the aforesaid order is appealable before the Land Reforms Deputy Collector.
4. Thus, the petitioner is directed to file an appropriate appeal before the Land Reforms Deputy Collector as per the Bihar Tenants Holdings (Maintenance of Records) Act, 1973. If the same is filed by the petitioner, it is expected that the Appellate Authority will consider the judgment of the Civil Court and also the order passed in W.P.(C) No.7143 of 2023 and pass an appropriate order as per law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.
4. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is
disposed of.
