Affidavit of service filed be taken on record. 2. Learned counsel submits that the opposite party no.2 has also duly been served. 3. Learned counsel for the State has filed the report. Let it be taken on record. 4. The report has also received from learned Judge, POCSO Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. 5. Perusal of the record in the case that the charges were framed in April, 2023, however, in three years out of eleven witnesses only one witness is examined. 6. Learned Judge in her report has sought one year time to complete the trial. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is suffering on account of delayed trial. 8. The Court considers that there is definite lapse on the part of the prosecution in not producing the witnesses. Prosecution is 2 directed to produce the witnesses positively on the date fixed by the learned trial court. Any lapse in this regard shall be viewed seriously. Learned court is directed to conduct the proceeding expeditiously and make all endeavour to complete the trial within time frame given in the report in accordance with law.
