GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent Nos1 to 4. 2. Issuance of notice to the 5th respondent is dispensed with as no prejudice would cause even if it is disposed of in his absence. 3. This Writ Petition was filed questioning the order passed by the 3rd respondent, dated 16.03.2026, in allowing the appeal of the 5th respondent herein by directing the 4th respondent to delete the names of the petitioners herein/respondent Nos.2 to 5 therein and to take action to mutate the name of the unofficial respondent herein/appellant therein for an extent of Ac.0.60 cents, only after following due process of law. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the 4th respondent has no jurisdiction to cancel the Ryotwari Patta granted by the Tahsildar, under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Inams Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari Act, 1956, by invoking powers under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. 5. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 4, submits that the impugned order of the 3rd respondent dated 16.03.2026, is an appealable order before the Joint Collector, Tirupati, within sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of that order. 6. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, as the petitioners are having an effective alternative remedy of revision before the Joint Collector, Tirupati, for the purpose of availing the same, the petitioners are directed to file revision against the said orders of the 3rd respondent dated 16.03.2026, within the prescribed period of limitation. On filing of such revision, the same shall be disposed of strictly in accordance with law by the Joint Collector, Tirupati, by hearing all the parties concerned, including the petitioners, 5th respondent herein and others concerned, giving due opportunity, upon verification of the records and the subject land appropriate decision shall be taken on its own merits as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four (04) months thereafter. 7. Pending disposal of the said revision, there shall be an order of Status-quo as on today to be maintained with respect to mutation of names of the parties concerned over the subject land covered under the impugned order of the 3rd respondent, dated 16.03.2026. In default of filing the revision by the petitioners as directed above, the interim protection granted by this Court automatically stands vacated. 8. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
