Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the pending representation at the earliest, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to complete the promotion process of the petitioner and to grant promotion on the post of accountant on completion of 08 years of service i.e. 08.02.2022 at the earliest with all consequential benefit before fulfilling the vacant post to any candidate and issuing any advertisement for fresh recruitment process on the post of Accountant, in the interest of justice. 10.3 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is working as cashier with respondent no. 5. Petitioner after completion of requisite period of service became eligible for promotion on the post of Accountant, however, petitioner has not been considered for the same. He submits that respondent no. 5 has recommended the name of petitioner for promotion to respondent no. 4 and, further respondent no. 4 has forwarded the letter recommending name of petitioner for promotion to respondent no. 2 which till date is pending consideration. He further submits that petitioner submitted representation before respondent no. 4 lastly on 17.06.2025 which till date is also pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 2 and 4 3 / 3 to consider and take decision on proceedings forwarded by respondent no. 4 and further respondent no. 4 be directed to consider and decide the claim of petitioner/representation. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 2 to consider the recommendation made by respondent no. 4, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of order. Respondent no. 4 is also directed to consider and take decision on representation submitted by petitioner within a further period of 02 months from the date of receipt of the order. 5.
