Page No.# 2/3 Parasar, learned Addl. P.P. for the State respondent. 2. This application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Rana Ranjit Sarma, seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Sapekhati Case No.40/2024 [corresponding to G.R Case No.305/2024] under Sections 420/406/409 of IPC. 3. The gist of allegations in the FIR dated 19.10.2024 lodged by one Dulen Sonowal that the employers of Ghorajan tea estate in the district of Charaideo has failed to deposit the Provident Fund Contribution deducted from the wages of the workers along with their matching contribution amounting to more than Rs.1.27 Crores for the indicated periods. 4. The petitioner was granted interim bail on 24.10.2025. It is submitted by the learned Addl. P.P. that in the meantime, upon completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted vide charge-sheet No.09/2026, dated 10.03.2026. 5. It is also submitted by Mr. P. Bordoloi, learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is aged about 85 years. 6. In the facts and circumstances, including completion of investigation, the interim bail order dated 24.10.2025 is hereby made absolute, subject to the following conditions that:- (i) The petitioner shall be available for the trial, if one commences. (ii) He shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence. (iii) He shall not commit any illegal activities. 7. Violation of any bail condition will entail cancellation of the bail. 8.
