1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for grant of retiral dues/retiral benefits along with interest from the date of retirement. 2. Mr. Kripesh G. Kela, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that though the petitioner has granted retiral dues vide Annexure R/1, but interest on the same has not been granted to the petitioner. 3. Mr. H.A.P.S. Bhatia, learned State counsel, would submit that the retiral dues has been paid to the petitioner vide Annexure R/1. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, considered their rival submissions made herein-above and gone through the records minutely. 5. Admittedly, the petitioner has granted retiral dues/retiral benefits vide Annexure R/1, however the interest on the retiral dues/retiral benefits has not been given to him. In
3 that view of the matter, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the competent authority for grant of interest on the retiral dues/retiral benefits and the competent authority is directed to decide the same within 45 days from the date of receipt of representation. 6. With the aforesaid observation/direction the instant writ petition stands disposed off.
