Civil Judge & JMFC At Gauribidanur and pass such other orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice." 2. Heard Sri.Manjunath G Kandekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Sri.B.N.Jagadeesha, learned Addl. SPP appearing for respondent No.1, Sri.L.M.Sowraba Jeevala, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 and have perused the material on record. 3. During the subsistence of the proceedings, the parties to the lis have entered into a settlement and have settled the dispute by filing compounding application along with affidavit and Joint Memo drawing up certain terms of settlement. The Joint Memo filed by the parties to the lis reads as follows: “JOINT MEMO "The Petitioners/Accused No.1 and 2 and Respondent No.2 submits as follows:- 1. The Petitioners/Accused No.1 and 2 has filed above petition seeking quash of chargesheet field by the Respondent No.1 Gowribidanur Rural Police Station in Crime No.270/2024 (C.C No.589/2025) for the offences - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23419 CRL.P No. 6746 of 2025 punishable under section 115(2), 118(1), 352, 351(1), 324(4), 329(3), 127(2), 76, 54, 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha(BNS), 2023 on the file of Addl. Civil Judge (Jr.Dn) and JMFC Court, Gowribidanur. 2. It is submitted that there was civil dispute between Accused No.4 and Respondent No.2 in respect of land bearing Sy.No. 599, 600, 601, 602 situated at Huduguru Village, D.palya Hobli, Gowribidanur Taluk in connection with the aid land there were certain documents were also entered into between the Accused No.4 and Respondent No.2 and a suit in O.S.No.156/2024 and O.S.No.938/2024 were also instituted before the Senior Civil Judge Gowribidanur and Devanahalli. The criminal proceedings pending between the Accused No.4 and Respondent No.2, both of them along with other parties have entered compromise in O.S.No.156/2024 and O.S.No.938/2024, wherein it is also decided through a mutual understanding to end the dispute involved in the above matter. In view of the settlement including to finalise criminal matter, the 2nd Respondent has no objection to quash the chargesheet filed against the Petitioners/Accused No.1 and 2 and Respondent No.2 withdrawing the complaint and entire allegations made against the Petitioner/accused No.4 in view of the compromise and settlement. Hence this joint memo.” 4. The parties to the lis are present before the Court and are identified by their respective counsels. 5. In the light of application for compounding being filed along with the joint memo and offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the same and - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:23419 CRL.P No. 6746 of 2025 terminate the proceedings against the petitioners in the subject petition. 6. For the aforesaid reasons, the following: O R D E R [I] Criminal Petition is disposed. [II] Proceedings in C.C.No.589/2025 (Crime No.270/2024) pending before the Prl.
