The passport issued in favour of the petitioner was impound since the petitioner was possessing dual passports. 2. Learned Deputy Solicitor General of India for the respondent submitted that the petitioner was imposed with the penalty to Rs.5,000/- for possessing dual passports and the petitioner subsequently has paid the penalty before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 3.
