The present Revision Petition, under Section 25-B(8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958, assails the Judgment/Order dated 04.04.2026 passed by the learned Senior Civil Judge-cum-RC in RC ARC No.234/2016 titled “Narain Singh Mehra v. Gurmukh Singh Barmi”, whereby the eviction petition filed under Section 14(1)(e) read with Section 25-B of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958, came to be allowed. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties jointly submit that the parties have amicably resolved their disputes and have This is a digitally signed order. The terms and conditions placed on record are reproduced hereinbelow: “1. That the Petitioner/Tenant undertakes to vacate the Demised Premises by 7th November, 2026 and shall handover the vacant and peaceful possession to the Respondent by the aforesaid date. 2. That the Respondent has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000 to the Petitioner towards the expenses incurred by it in early vacation of the Demised Premises and logistical charges thereof. The aforesaid sum shall be paid by the Respondent before the vacation of the demised premises. 3. The Petitioner declares that it has paid all dues and charges payable to the authorities towards water and electricity for the period of its occupation of the Demised Premises. There is no electricity and water supply in the Demised Premises since its disconnection. 4. The Petitioner further declares that it has paid upto date contractual monthly rent payable for the Demised Premises and shall pay the same for the remaining period of its occupation until the handing over the Demised Premises in terms of the settlement. 5. Upon vacation of the Demised Premises, the parties shall have no claim whatsoever against each other in relation to the demised premises and matters incidental thereto.” 4. The parties submit that they shall remain bound by the aforesaid terms and conditions of settlement. The undertaking furnished by the Petitioner/Tenant to vacate and hand over vacant and peaceful possession of the Demised Premises to the Respondent by 07.11.2026 is accepted and taken on record. 5. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present Revision Petition. The parties shall be bound by the terms and conditions reproduced hereinabove. 6. Consequently, the present Revision Petition, along with the pending application(s), if any, is disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties. This is a digitally signed order.
