Learned counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that due to some inadvertence, he could not appear when the matter (WPS No.2449 of 2014) was called out for hearing on 09.02.2026, and the case was dismissed for want of prosecution. Matter pertains to appointment of ‘Aganbadi Workers’ and it requires hearing on merits, therefore, he prays that the writ petition may be restored to its original number and it be heard on merits. 3.
