2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he was granted with 1 acre of land in Sy.No.45 situated at Kempagondanahalli village, Tavarekere Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk and pursuant to the kimmat being paid by the

petitioner, Sagvali Chit as found at Annexure-C was issued to the petitioner. However, the petitioner's name is not entered in the revenue records.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out to Annexure-F where the RTC reflects the names of several such grantees in Survey No.45.

The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Bengaluru Soutth Taluk, to verify the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner and whether Saguvali Chit was issued in favour of the petitioner. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This direction is issued only to enable

the entry of the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. Ordered accordingly.
