In this writ petition, the petitioner sought for the following reliefs: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9488 WP No. 18374 of 2025 a) Issue a writ of mandamus to the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.9.2024 given by the petitioner to the 5th respondent principal marked at Annexure-A. b) issue a writ of mandamus to the respondents to consider the petitioner promotion with effect from 1.4.2021 by extending the benefit under the Kalyana Karnataka. c) Issue any order or writ or direction as deemed fit under the facts and circumstance of the case in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The case of the petitioner is that he is working as an English teacher in Smt. Indira Gandhi Residential School, Mavinahole, Channagiri Taluk, Davanagere District. Petitioner had given a representation dated 20.09.2024 (Annexure-A) to respondent No.5 seeking consideration of his case under Kalyana-Karnataka reservation as provided under Article 371J of the Constitution of India. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of. 6. Respondent Nos.4 to 6 are directed to consider the representation dated 20.09.2024 submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-A, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
